Accessories

• Socket trays are available in either a 4 or 8 socket base. The socket tray can operate in a “smart” mode or Parameter select mode. The “Smart” mode directs the operator to the next socket in the operation and sets the parameter when the correct socket is removed. The Parameter select mode sets the parameter to the socket that is removed.
• All socket trays come with the browser based setup software for tray configuration.
• Custom made socket inserts provide a custom fit to eliminate operator placement error.
• Bright (Red / Green) LED’s allow for proper socket selection and fault indication

Special Heads FEC can supply many different configurations for special applications including; offset heads, Crowsfoot heads, Hold and Drive heads, Tube nut heads, Sliding spindles, etc.

Fusion Controller

One controller covers the full range of Hand Tools. As a result of miniaturized surface mount circuit technology, the compact units maintain a maximum width of 165mm in spite of the built in single phase power supply and servo amplifier.  The controller is back plate mountable and feature the following:

• GFI protection along with Isolated Gate Bipolar Technology (IGBT) provides safe operation
• Fully Digital System (eliminates analog potentiometers)
• 16 different work parameters (part programs) that can be stored into Flash ROM. No battery backup required
• External communication is available through (2) RS-232 ports and optional Ethernet & Fieldbus connectivity (DeviceNet, Profibus, Modbus, AB Remote I/O, CClink, Ethernet I/P, etc.)
• Large LED Display for viewing result data and can be used to program individual controllers
• Plug-in firmware flash connector for quick & easy firmware updates

MAIN UNIT CONTROLLER

The Main Unit is a complimentary controller device to enhance the DSP1500 capabilities by providing the data communication and sequence control features for single and multiple (up to 31) press applications. The use of the Main Unit reduces valuable engineering, start-up and debug time by allowing full sequencing functionality & press data to be handled independently of an outside controller (PLC).  Additionally, all Input / Output functions are assumed by the Main Unit for all connected presses while also allowing use of a multiple of standard Fieldbus Interfaces. 

Optional fieldbus capabilities for: Ethernet I/P, Allen Bradley Remote I/O^®, DeviceNet^®, Interbus-S^®, Profibus^®, CC-Link^® and Modbus Plus^® are available eliminating hard wired I/O thus reducing debug & start-up costs.  Additionally, Ethernet I/P, CC-Link^® & DeviceNet^® technologies allow transfer of resultant press data across the same communication link as the I/O.

DSP User Console Software

DSP User Console Software is a Windows® based programming interface that enables you to:

• Communicate with up to 31 press units
• Read, write and check operational parameters
• Edit operational parameter data on a spreadsheet or graphical screen.
• Display, save and print operational result data and load/current curves.
• Perform statistical calculations of operational result data.
